What do you love most about your job?

I love dogs and being able to help people create a stronger connection with their pet is my favourite part of the job. Puppy training can be particularly rewarding as well!

Do you offer any specialised forms of training?

I can offer everything from house training a puppy to teaching an adult how to complete an agility course in competition. I specialise in commands and being able to instruct owners on how to handle their pup, as well as teaching them how to better understand their dog. One of the more specialist aspects I train on is separation anxiety.

What variety of training options do you provide for clients?

I believe I offer a great range, including home visits, group sessions, and private one-to-one instructor classes. I’m also happy meeting in a suitable public place such as a dog park. Working with you and your dog, we’ll create a routine that works perfectly.

What qualifications have you achieved?

I have earned qualifications from: the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors, Level 3 CPD Accredited Dog Training, Diploma in Dog Training, and more. I love this program I love this program. I was skeptical at first as it if very expensive and I have tried a board and train before that was cheaper but not worth the money. Good news is they offer a payment plan. The trainer picked my dog up and dropped him off when he was all finished even though she was 2 hours away. We worked/are working with Tressie and I only have positive things to say about her. She had my 7 month old pup for 4 weeks and she did excellent with giving him more confidence to be a better pup. He has only been home for 3 days now but she helped build his confidence so much that he is like a new pup. I'm not saying he is now perfect, as he isn't but his listening skills have improved at least 90%. Don't go into a training like this thinking there will be no work required by you when they arrive home because you will be disappointed. Work is required but they will guide you through how to handle everything you are having issues with. My pup did get a small injury on his foot during one of his play sessions but she made sure to tell me right away and kept an eye on it while he was there. My favorite part about this program was the daily video updates and the constant communication. It's very nerve wrecking sending your pup away with a stranger for 4 weeks but she reassured me everyday. Not only telling me, but showing me he is doing well. I also loved that he was in her own home and not left in a boarding facility.

Our 6 month old puppy was experiencing significant challenges with jumping on people and biting. We tried group training with another trainer and ultimately, needed more assistance. Through training/boarding for two weeks, Travis was successful in eliminating both negative behaviors. In addition, several new commands introduced by Travis were mastered and our puppy is now a well behaved animal and a fully functioning family member.

After 4 years with Chewbacca he's been great minus some reactive behavior due to trauma. My Leia acted like Queen B due to my roommate counter acting training. After Trey came over my roommate started doing things right and now Leia is a Sweet Honey Bee. She's way less pushy and learned heel the first day with Trey. I was blown away. I thought I tried everything. Apparently I was on the right track with collars and leashes but again Trey one upd me and provided a better leash/collar that was very similar. Now me with weak shoulders can walk 2 powerful dogs with minimal reactions and they wanna listen better. I was worried I'd never get to walk 2 dogs and would have to call Rover. We still have some consistency to work on with new habits. But I can't wait to take these dogs on cross country road trips. Before I didn't. I was always worried about dog fights from Chewbacca and Leia just disappearing. Now I'm way less worried. Way more hopeful. I have definitely been telling friends about Trey!
